What is Penetrating Damp
Rain entrance through brick work (known as penetrating damp) is a typical issue in structures – especially on account of those of solid wall construction. The issue is also common in structures of cavity wall development where cavity wall insulation has been inadequately introduced or utilized as a part of walls that are not reasonable for cavity wall insulation. Different ways through which rain can cross through a cavity wall include incorrectly positioned wall ties and mortar hindrances in the cavity.
To alleviate this problem we will apply a protective coat to your walls. Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream and Stormdry Repointing Additive can be used to provide protection against penetrating damp without affecting the visual appearance of brickwork or stonework.
